SoundSplit splits a song into stems such as vocals, drums, bass, piano and guitar. You can remove the vocals for karaoke, or mute one instrument so you can practise along with the rest.
SoundSplit is free to download. You pay for the number of minutes of music you process, as a one-time fee. Basic is $14.99 for 50 minutes, Standard is $34.99 for 150 minutes, and Premium is $119.99 for 800 minutes. To top up, open the premium section in the app and pick the pack you want.
No. Minutes are a one-time purchase. Every minute we process costs us money to run, so we charge per minute instead of a monthly fee, which would cost heavy users more than they use.
Free users see banner ads. Buying any block of minutes removes them.
When you download SoundSplit, you will be asked to create an account. Simply tap "Sign Up" in the app and fill in the boxes. It is free and extremely simple.
Tap "Forgot Password" in the app and we will email you instructions to reset it. Follow them, then reopen the app and sign in with your new password.
After you upload your music and make your adjustments, tap the download icon in the app and you will receive an mp3 file with all of your edits.
